I saw some new 30 rd. mags for $14.95.
Is this good price?
Will 5.56 shoot out of .223 mags?

I believe DPMS mags are made for them, like Bushmaster by LaBelle Manuf.  Decent mags, Excellent price if the true pre-ban mags.
Especially if your ordering in bulk, the $5/ea. mag you saved adds up.
.223 cal. and 5.56 are, for our purposes the same, so .223 magazines and 5.56 mags are the same, in fact as far as mil surplus goes, there are only 5.56 mags, though if where you're seeing these advertised ad'd them as .223 mags, I'd be careful as to their level of knowledge and the probability these mags may or may not be true pre-bans, and not re-habbed/re-hashed "posties".
Use caution, but good luck, hopefully you've found a steal.

AWB317, are those any good? I think those are the ones I saw!

LEO, law enforcement only mags, post ban, not pre ban, posties were never expensive to begin w/ that's an average price.
