I've got 24 USGI 30-rounders, 31 USGI 20-rounders, 1 10-round Bushmaster and 1 Canadian Thermold. I'm to the point now where I'll buy one or two mags at each gun show IF there isn't anything else of interest at the show. But the big mag buying craze is, for the most part, over.

After I got my first AR I was obsessed with getting a good supply of magazines. Most of my mags were NIW too. I didn't want a pile of beat to death mags. I've come to the point were I have more mags than I probably will NEED in my life time. So, my gun money is now going to be focused on things like weapon lights and other practical accessories.
I do love 20-round mags though. Whenever a good deal pops up I usually jump on it. |

40 + for my AR's
30 + for my AK's Not to mention the Fal and Cetme mags.[:d] |

Quoted: 114? wholly crap. View Quote Thats just what I can put my hands on. 7 AR's to feed, 3 more to my limit. Must build and not buy the AR's, It's a AR thing some wouldn't understand. I'll stop at 100 30's and 50 20's. Danny |

I just got my AR about a month ago, so I only have 8 30's so far - 7 of the gray English mags and 1 Orlite. None of the gun shops around me have any mags except 30's, so I guess I'll just have to keep collecting them. J

I'm a little slim right now since the last fun show and my recent trade into a Bushmaster Varminter. I'm confused since you just ask, "How many mags I own..."
For my ARs. 35- 30 rounders. 12-20's. Many more considering my Glock(s), AK, FAL, and AR10 addiction. All totaled, I have a couple grand worth in mags alone. (She'll catch on one day) At 13, are you OK? Well, do you live in Arkasas? 18 should be the minimum accepted in the upper states. I keep at least half of mine loaded at any given time. (And I live in the "Big Country" not the city!) Now a question for you....Who sent you, DU or my fiance?[rofl2] Sly |
|
AR's = 75 30 rounders, 12 20 rounders and 2 more 30's coming in the mail
1911A1= 26 7 and 8 rounders 10/22= 10 25 rounders 6 10 rounders USP45F= 8 10 rounders |
|
11 USGI 30's (Work/SHTF)
7 USGI 20's (CMP mags) 2 Orlites (range mag) 1 SA-80 (Why the hell not) |

I keep the factory 10 rounder for range use. It is locked seperate from the gun, of course.
I *do* have a spare 10 rounder in the box in case this one breaks, though. Who would need more than that? |
|
Three or Four pallets worth.
I don't play with limited cap mags. |

A man probably only needs about six or seven so I try to hang around the 60 to seventy mark. Its an addiction man same with ammo I used to buy 50 at a time now if I don't have a 1000 in safety stock I feel like I am running out.

[8D] And like others have said, this doesn't include FAL, AK, AR10, and various pistol mags! Still, I am still pretty low in the AR15.com mag whore standings! I don't remember offhand. I roughly totalled it last February. It equalled about 900 years of prison time if Il had passed the full-capacity mag ban. Since then, I've bought another 350 years worth. I've probably got another few hundred years worth laying around.
