...can anyone tell me a place in the N. Virgina area, preferrably near Arlington or Alexandria that sells 30 rnd mags?  I just moved to the area and any help is appreciated.

Well, I do not know any up there, but if you take 95 south get off at the Ashland exit and go south on rt 1 for about 3 miles Green Top has 30rders. The are SA80 mags, but if you ask nice they might have a few GI in the back.

I don't live in that area any longer but Potomac Arms in old town Alexandria should have them. I was up there last month and stopped by the store and I recall seeing some.  Full Metal Jacket surplus store is co-located with them and may have some as well. The address is Zero Prince Street (right on the Potomac river).

Thanks for the info.  I found them last week.  They have a really cool surplus shop, but their 30 rnders are $30 each with almost no finish.

If you can hold out till the 18th of October, come down to the gunshow in Richmond and you will find plenty of mags at a reasonable price.

M4:  What shows are in PA this weekend?  I'm familiar with the Harrisburg shows, but thats all. Are the others near to MD?

Gunnut:  My wife is expecting on Oct 5, so I doubt I'll get a chance to go to Richmond

I am pretty sure there is a show In Philly this weekend. Go to the PA Hometown board and check it out.

I'd buy on line or here...I saw 2 (Steel-English) at a shop in Manassas for 30 each.

I see your point, but I've gotten burned before by ordering unseen.

79TransAm.......on the EE or do a search.

or ComputerGuy.

100% reliable -- differing finish grades usually very competitive with prices.
