[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Recommended mag mods for 7.62?

Got five of the USA (i.e., non frankenmag) 30 rounders in 7.62. Any tricks or mods to make them reliable?
Just asking because i heard that they weren't very reliable and I'd hate to have a gun that I can't get any regular capacity mags for.

I have some that work flawless, and some that are hit and miss.
I have found that if you use brass case ammo instead of wolf or barnaul the reliability increases.

try the mags you have and see if they work,
frankenmags are the best for ar 762x39.
Any ar 20 or 30 rd mag will be the same as the mags you have, just different floor plates.
