Howdy,

Looking at restocking my supply of projectiles for my practice/ SHTF rotating stash. Wideners had Barnaul 55gr FMJ's for $26/1000. Wondering if these have thick jackets like Wolf and fail to fragment. Also any an accuracy experiance would be appreciated.

Virtually all Russian bullets use a soft steel jacketed projectile with a thin copper coating. I would not count on this to fragment. It is very cheap however, so it's still good for plinking.

Wolf .223 is an exception however. It has a thick copper jacket.
