Why after 10 or so mags in carbines does this ammo start to fail to extarct requiring a clearing rod to extract the brass?

I have not had any problems with mine but mine is marked "92" on the headstamp. what year is yours? I heard some of the earlier stuff was underloaded. Like I said, mine has not given any problems in over 400 rounds in 4 different rifles.

Funny you mention it......I fired 500rds of it today without a single problem.  Also fired 150rds of 62gr Wolf polymer coated without a hitch.  Also fired 200rds of ADCOM and had one blown primer but it did not affect the gun, it kept on running.
Also fired 150rds of S&B greentips without a hitch.

Olympic lower with Bushmastser 11.5 inch barrel with permanent 5.5 inch flash suppressor.

All in all, it was a great day at the range.

Have you checked your extractor? Ever try spraying the chamber area with CLP?

Guys, this is not an isolated incident.  My entire BN is having these problems with L2A2.  I'll try to get the lot/years today.

This is happening with clean and properly lubricated Army M4 riflres

I was under the impression that L2A2 was NOT AUTHORIZED with M4s.  Member ACR26 even IM'd me the message to that effect-but I forgot to save it so I can't post the text here.  The gist was that it's fine with M16A1 and A2s, but NOT for M4s and M4A1s.

Well, I don't know what to tell you.  We have it to shoot out of our M4s.  It's too bad too!  I checked out the dates, 1999 and 2000.

Any idea what grain these are? I've heard they keyhole... for some reason I'm thinking they're 50 grain.

Radway is 62 [63] grain bullets. Shoots absolutely fine and dandy in my Colt 6920. Any of the 90s dated stuf is NOT downloaded.  Mine is 90-91 dated. Brits NEVER painted the bullets as they used nothing except 62 [63] grain bullets [save specialty ammo like tracer] They never used 55 grain stuff.

Same here.  I picked up a can of the '92 head stamp on strippers in bandoliers.  Zero issues.

I'm shooting '92 RORG in a 20 inch Colt and a 16 inch RRA middy.

ZERO problems.  All go bang, not overly dirty.  No key holing for me but I haven't shot this over 200 yards either.

I have about 700 rounds of it left.
