Just noticed this stuff tonight.  Have they had it for some time or am I just way behind here?  My local Wal-Mart had it in 9mm, .40S&W, and .45.  Should I be buying this stuff or should I stick with the Winchester 100rnd value packs?

How much $ for the 9MM?  Is it L9MM3?

It basically equals out to be the same price as the WWBs.  It was right at about $30 for 250rnds of 9mm.  Not sure what L9MM3 is?

Figure that at $120/1000 you're doing alright.

I just bought 1000 rounds of 115g 9mm FMJ (Remington UMC) at Dick's Sporting Goods for a hair over one bill.  It was on sale, 35% off.

At the last gunshow, I bought 500 rounds of GA Arms 115g 9mm for $75.

Dick's rules for UMC 9MM when it's on sale.

I will tell you what Wal-Mart has for ammo since I work there in sporting goods.  We carry Winchester and Remington value packs.  The Winchester just went up though, like the 40 round 223 shells.  100 rounds 9mm 115 grain FMJ are about $11.96, 165 grain 40S&W FMJ $16.98, 100 round 45 auto 230grain (not sure off hand) $20.96.  The Remington UMC value packs are the same grain I believe, but all Remington value packs are JHP and cost about $3.00 to $4.00 more than Winchester.  I will say though if Winchester goes up again though, you will be able to shoot JHP for the same price as FMJ.  Note, these prices are at the store I work at and may not be everywhere.

Remington UMC 40s&w is good practice and plinking ammo. I've shot around 1K and have had no problems.
