True US military surplus is more or less unavailable to civilians due to Klinton's executive order banning surplusing. Even if surplusing ammo was still legal, I doubt we would have much, if anything, with the GWOT going on right now. The stuff you buy on the ammo price list are seconds, or demilled. So you can get pretty close to what surplus would be, but won't ever get actual, true, surplus. Confused yet?
