Yes, it'll shoot fine. You may have to re-zero your sights, depending on which ammo you used to zero them originally. I have a Bushy M4 with a 1 in 9 barrel. Using an Aimpoint ML2, I can easily empty a 30rd mag of m855 fairly quickly into a group about the size of my fist, at 100 yds. Well aimed groups are much tighter.
