I am looking at Black Hills blue box in...

52 HP
75 HP
77 HP

Any others from the Black Hills line that should be on my list?  No moly please.

I have heard on here that the Black Hills 68 grain stuff doesn't shoot that well for most people?

I have heard that the Winchester 45 grain HP varmint loads shoot very well for most people.

The first barrel I will be testing will be a SS 1/8 twist 16" HBAR, but I will also be testing 1/9 twist rifles in the future.

Just looking for mainstream ammo that seems to shoot consistently well in most guns at an affordable price.  Meaning nothing like Norma Black Diamond or something like that.  Keep it to Black Hills or Winchester or some other common American brand.

Thanks!

Add..

75gr Hornady TAP. (preferred self defense load)

Federal Gold Medal Match 77gr

It's good to know what an upper will shoot with XM193 for future reference, too.

Shoot them all and find out which load your rifle prefers.

The Federal Match Gold 77 grainers work best for me but I have a 1/7, runners up in my tests was blackhills. However I will only shoot blackhills from now on becuase of the price difference in the federal and the BH's. (that and you can order the BH's buy the 1000's and the federals only by 200 per case.)

Try some 69 grain SMKs, either Federal or BH.

123whisper.

I'm serious as a coronary on this one.  Scope out a reload from Georgia Arms.  RodeoFan was doing .75MOA fairly regularly with it in his RRA even though we didn't get pics of them for some reason.  My Bushie A2 loves the round also and goes .9999999999678MOA with irons.

I've got to figure out how to put pictures on here to prove what I'm saying.  Black hills blue box is goooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooood stuff.  You can't go wrong.  Any of the bthp's will be good, but some better than other's so you just have to try it.

Ok, thanks guys.  Not really looking to go through another reload company other than BH.  Looking to find out what an upper can do with ammo that the customer can readily buy.

Thanks!
