My favorite defensive ammo has glass tips that break open during fragmentation and release a potent silver nitrate solution which travels quickly to the vampire's heart and kills it.
My second favorite ammo, when fired zeros in on the head of the target. Cause thats the only way to kill a zombie. |

If you're using a Beta mag when SHTF, then the S is REALLY likely to HTF. There's a reason the military keeps rejecting them after every test (usually every couple of years, when they find a new command who doesn't know about the previous tests and is willing to spend some time doing one). When it comes to field reliability, they are THE SUCK.
Beta mags are for nice clean ranges, where if it breaks or malfunctions, you can cuss out loud and then change mags without getting shot. -Troy |

SHTF ammo requires SHTF magazines and rifles. Beta-C doesn't qualify for this use. Maybe good for range or police work. Operative word is "maybe." -- Chuck |

You do know that Black Hills loads it in both red and blue box varieties, don't you? |

Black hills also makes a 77gr sierra matchking and a 73 Gr. Berger BTHP. I wonder how these 2 loads compare to the 75gr TAP?
