Because of its lower density due to the steel penetrator, the 62gr M855 bullet has a disproportionally high BC vs. its mass of 0.324, whereas 55gr M193 is only 0.260. To compare, the 68gr Hornady only has a BC of 0.355.

Because of M855's decent BC and high velocity, it actually has less drop than the heavier bullets at long range.
I realize this doesn't directly address accuracy. The IMI M855 has been pretty accurate for me, however. (ie, 1MOA)
-z
