I shot the remanufactured Black Hills 55 gr. soft points today.  The cartridges were very clean (like new) in appearance. They shot accurately and consistantly out of my Colt Target Match Competition. I averaged 1 inch groups at 100 yards. Only shot around 40 rounds, but they seem like they will work well for small game and target shooting.

I'm thinking about trying the Black Hills blue box in the 50 grain V-Max configuration. The Winchester white box varmint 45 grain is not consistent out of my Bushmaster 20 inch. It does like the Winchester Supreme ballistic silvertip in 55 grain but I would like to find something cheaper without sacrificing too much accuracy. Over the weekend I'll be trying out some Hornady Varmint Express 55 grain V-Max, but it is kind of pricey also.

Funny that the 45gr USA isn't consistent in your BM.  My 20" V-Match loves it.  The only that that shoots better is the 55gr Hornady V-Max at 3x the price.  Both Dad's 20" BM and his Rem 700 like the 45gr too.  Dad's 700 likes the 52gr BH blue box too.  I think it's cheaper than the 50gr.
