Got a gentlemen picking up a rifle from me tomorrow & he is interested in buying some ammo I have. I bought this several years ago & don't have a clue what it's worth.
First is a 300 round brown battlepack of SA marked: 300rd-5.56x45mm-ball m1a3-ctn-231a85z..

2nd is 300 round black sealed pack of IMI marked: SS109-IMI-.223-62grn-300

Can anyone help???

Can't really help with the IMI M855, as I haven't bought any in quite a while.  Judging by Botach's price of $249/1200, I'd say it's worth $62.50.

The SA stuff has gotten hard to find, and because of that the price has jumped to $45-$50 per pack.  You probably paid about $35 for it.

Thanks for the input, that gives me a starting point for trading. I think it's easily worth a 1000rnd case of 7.62x39...
