i was told they are Zinc any comments?
they apperently explode with contact of any thing. do any of you know more about these rounds? they are 55 gr.

I have never heard of them, but if they "explode" when hitting anything, they are most likely varmit rounds. It wouldn't be all that effective as an anti-personel round if they work that way, but would be great on groundhogs.
