It's milspec.

Yes, Q3131A is mil-spec. It's some of my favorite ammo. [:)]
It is made in Israel by a maker contracted by Winchester, IIRC. I'm not sure if IMI makes their own M193 or not, but this is just as good as anything they make. Enjoy! P.S. If you buy in bulk, don't pay more than $0.20 a round for it. |

I ran some Q3131A through my chronograph, and it was not up to M-193 spec. The average was 3166 ft./sec. M-193 spec. is 3250 ft./sec. IIRC. Q3131A is some great stuff though. Very consistant, and accurate. If I did not make my own ammo, I would use this stuff.

I concur with Vaportrail; I ran some thru my Oehler 35p and only got a little over 3100 fps.
Same with Federal XM193... |
