Posted on the Reloading group, but traffic there is too low.

The heavy OTM ammunition seems to be the ticket; and I want to make some up.  I have 4895 and H335 available.

I am having real trouble finding data for the 75 Grain Hornady and the 69 grain Sierra HPBTM (OTM) bullets.  I am using WC844 (H335 data) and would appreciate any tips or data.

I recently purchased one of those little "The complete Reloading Manual for the .223 Remington" booklets for $6.99.  It's broken down 1st by bullet manuf. then powder manuf.

He's what I'm finding.

Of course Sierra has data for the 69 gr MK HPBT using H335 and IMR 4895.  

Hornady didn't give any data for their 75 grainer.

The Hodgdon data give data for a 75 gr bullet but I don't think it's the Hornady.

Alliant gives 75 gr data using their Reloader 15 with the Hornady.

Winchester give data for the Sierra 69 grainer using their W748.  Same for Vihtavuori as does Accurate powder for the Sierra pill.

I think I have the 68 and 69 grain stuff worked out for the most part; it would be nice to have confirmation (hint).
I think I need Varget for the 75 grain bullet.

One thing that would be useful; can you tell me what the pressure/velocity ratings are on the Varget and 4895 loads?
I have a fair bit of this that I was reserving for the Garand, but if it suits here...

.223 loads

Hogdon web based load for 75 gr JLK VLD bullet at 2.250" COL.
Varget- max load 25.0 grains. (I am loading 24.2 grains with Sierra 77 gr bullet)

Sierra manual shows IMR 4895 load for 69 grainer Sierra.

start-22.6  max-24.6gr

(I love Varget for 69 grainers I load 24.5 gr and seat to 2.26" for magazine loading.  I hear lots loads used between 24.0 and 25.0 by other shooters.  My best score at 200 rapid fire is 5 x's and 5 tens with my 69 gr load in match shooting)

From what Troy posted on the Ammunition forum the 4895 will get me the best velocities with normal pressures.
I wanted to load some GI pressure loads for TAP loads; the 4895 should get me there the easiest.

The manual is an abridged version of data.  I've seen them around and finally bought one.

For informational purposes only:

Tested some loads today; the 75 grain Hornady match bullet and 4895 powders. Looking just for pressure signs right now.
All loads seated to 2.260", crimped with Lee Factory Crimp die.

23.0 and 23.5 grains showed no pressure signs, none at all. Even normal .223 Rem loads show more pressure, so these should be great. I might be able to increase, but I see no reason to try until I get some accuracy data.
To get TAP-style loads at NATO pressures I would need to increase some, but again, I would like to get some Chrono data; I hope to get a chrono soon.

I used both Hodgdon and surplus 4895; they are visibly different. The military powder seems a little slower than the H4895.

I am not sure if I can increase more than 24.0g anyway; the case was pretty full. The crunching noises were a little disconcerting.
