I came across some ammo at a gun show the other day. I was in buff colored cardboard boxes, 20 rds. per box. It was marked "5.56mm 55 gr.(M193)" and in small letters at the bottom of the box was Hansen Cartrige Company.

Do any of you guys know anything about this ammo? It was pretty cheap. Is it any good? Thanks in advance.

Hansen ammo used to be manufactured in Yugoslavia.  When Yoguslavia started to fall apart, Hansen started importing the Israeli made stuff.  The Yugoslavian ammo was generally pretty good but I used to run into some bad batches once in awhile.  I never had any problems with the Israeli ammo.
