I just ordered 1K rounds at a good price. I heard from a friend that this stuff is very good but how accurate is it?
Thanks gcp

Well, what was the price for 1k rounds? If you found a hot source, let the rest of us in on it...

Gargoyle, you're on a need to know basis and they need to know so spill the beans :-)
Is $166/1K a good price for LC ammo? How about its brass, good quality for accurate reloading?

Yes, $166 for 1K of LC XM193 is a good price, particularly delivered. Average prices are around $200 delivered.

Why play games on ammo pricing? You have either ordered it already, or you aren't going to.

Stick, I don't get where you're going with "play games" since the ammo has already been ordered and paid for. Double checking is all I was doing so, mind your manners!

I can't believe all the BS in this thread.
If someone knows of a source, it's their duty to post it. Otherwise, keep your fat pie hole shut.

Considering how fast AR-15.com people are buying up the ammo, if I personally knew of a source, I'd buy all the ammo I needed first, and after it arrived, let you guys know.
I've been burned twice now - sent in a MO for ammo, only to find that the Credit-card users over the net or phone bought it all. And this was after I called to confirm that they had the ammo I wanted and in the quantity I wanted.
It sucks having to take a MO back to the Post Office and get them to refund the money. Major hassle. And I've done it twice now. Credit card or check isn't an option, not if I want to keep the wife off of my back.

Well now, it seems we have a bunch of less than mature members around here. Too bad since verbal confrontations...especially behind a key board are a waste of time. And all this verbal assault toward someone you don't even know for a $20-$30 savings? Is it appropriate? Is it called for? Will it help you in any way?
As I mentioned in my initial post I don't know where it's coming from since a friend is taking care of this for me. Today I will know where it's coming from but remember nice things tend to happen to nice people and since some of you are not so nice I'll just shut my "fat pie hole".
To the nice people of this board, email me and I'll be glad to let you know the source. gcp

billclo, I know where you're coming from. I posted a link to a good deal on XM193 last week and it was all gone before I could order my second case. But I had 3,000 rounds already so I'm not suffering for the loss of an extra case.
gcp, in your second post you said you would let everyone know. If that was not your intention, you should say so.
We try to help each other here. If you don't want to participate, that's your choice.

I think we're getting carried away. It appears that a misunderstanding has soured the mood of this thread and led to what were probably unintentional insults and hard feelings.
The current feeding frenzy on M193 has created a little tension among us. Kind of like rush hour traffic bringing out the worst in some folks (who? me?!).
Let's not let a little thing like ammo come between us.
WHAT AM I SAYING?!
I NEED AMMO NOW! REVEAL YOUR SOURCE OR FACE THE WRATH OF THE ARFCOM ARMY! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

Delta, I appreciate your thoughts but I still think people need to learn to mind their manners since that makes for an easier life all around. Current feeding frenzy is not an excuse for rood behavior which BTW I tend to not tolerate, no matter where it comes from and for any reason. I said what I meant on all my posts, I did not know the source and if Monday was too late for some they need to learn to not look at a horse gift in the mouth. No innuendos or ulterior motives were part of my responses. So far I've answered more than 15 emails on the source of the ammo and believe me it would have been much easier for me to post it once and be done with it. What makes all this even worst is that the offending parties still have not uttered a word of apology. And I am expected to have understanding??
Food for thought gcp

And the ammo source is....well I best keep my "fat pie hole shut" as I was directed.
Have a very nice evening, double damn it :-))

Red, I did not receive your email but since I will be out of computer pocket for the next 3 weeks for you and the rest of the NICE members my ammo source was Graf & Son.
