Hello,

With a lot of reading on this forum I was able to assemble my first AR.  A buddy of mine already has .223 so I decided to go with a 9mm so we can shoot at indoor ranges as well.

After reading many posts it would seem that 9mm AR builds can be sort of finicky, I guess its because there are so many different ways to go about it.  Well for the first day we only got to put 100 rounds through it cause I was so excited about getting the final parts together we only had about 45min at the range.  In that 45 min we didn't have any FTE or FTF, it basically functioned flawlessly.  I know i'll have to put a few hunderd more rounds before I can call it a total success, but it seems thoes who do have issues with their 9mm AR have them right at the get go.

So I thought I would put up the parts I used just in case other wish to follow the same route I did.

RRA 9mm Flat Top Upper
RRA 9mm bolt /not ramped
RRA 9mm Magwell
RRA 9mm Hammer
CMMG lower
Slash 9-Q buffer
Wolff XP Carbine Spring
KNS Gen II Pin Set - although not installed yet on order
⅛”x ¾” extractor roll pin (replacing the stock RRA roll pin)
Cproducts 9mm Mag 10 rounds (live in kaliforniastan)
RRA 9mm Mag - will test soon being delievered this friday
Vltor Emod - though I don't think that would cause an issue
Standard LPK

I'll probably hit the range again this weekend hopefully i'll put a few hundred rounds through it.
