Hey all . Some of you probably saw the A1 display rifle I made...
I enjoyed it so much I decided to do a A2.

And the twist ...

This one started because I had some A2 parts I was saving for a clone, but they weren't Colt parts do I decided
To sacrifice them . The upper is a dpms with a strange texture on it. The lower was a 80% A2 that  braceman couldn't sell.
The barrel is a FN that was rusted and shot out. The 203 is a Colt licensed airsoft  and the rest was laying at the
Bottom of the parts box.

Not bad for a dermal

Enjoy

I'd get one of the copy ACOG and cut that, then put plastic lenses
Might be a good way to accomplish it for low $$

Yea that's what I was thinking. A 100$ Chinese faux- cog wouldn't hurt so bad
If I ruined it. And ya that's a good idea.. If I were to ruin the lenses
I could use them as templates and re cut them out of plexiglass

Range report?

To echo the other responses, absolutely outstanding work.  I'd be proud to have that on any wall in my house, regardless of what the Mrs. thought about it.

Thank you sir. Funny thing about it , the lower is still
Fully function, no different than the skeleton lowers on the market today.
I might put a different upper on it and test it,,, for shits and giggles

Very cool and very nice work! You should consider a window in the buffer to show the weights & spacers. There's a lot of people that have no idea what makes that rattle sound inside the buffer.

Already ahead of you. I did just that on the A1 cutaway I made prior to this one.
Just wanted to be a little different on this one.

You really could make some money on these. I'd love a set of these for my study.

You know there has been a lot more interest than I expected.
I have two guys collecting parts and another mailing them
This week.

The problem is finding useable but unuseable parts of that makes
Sense. If people have their own parts then it's easy.. But finding the parts... Could be a
Challenge. I'll have to look into it.

But it would be cool to make and sell them.
Hell I could even make wall display boxes
