Shouldn't make any difference what action spring and buffer you use as long as they're for a carbine.
What's a "non FA upper?" "Uppers is uppers" in my experience. –– Chuck |

Not sure why you'd want either. Who makes uppers without the recess on the bottom edge? Colt?

I have always had great luck with the tubbs buffer springs. They are a flat wire spring and good for 500,000 cyclings.

Who makes a action spring that eliminates the twang.. when fired. I thought that someone said a Wolf spring did not twang when fired.

I just finished up a build using Spike's Tube, ST-T2 buffer and their Mil-Spec 17-7 Stainless Steel Carbine Buffer Spring. I'm very pleased with their products...Very quiet and next to no recoil. In all honesty I'm going to be putting the Spike's Piston kit in both my CMMG Piston and my LWRC M6A2.

I like running superior shooting systems chrome silicon flat wire buffer spring and spikes st-t2.
