Sweet. You should run a trade in program so I can trade my MCTAR-18 towards this

Nice! Will these clear an Adams Arms piston system? And do they require triangle retainer cap, or can they also utilize round cap?

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful - I want some!

Any recommendations on good Delta ring sets?

I've contacted MI, and been informed that it WILL clear an Adams Arms piston system (but DOES require a triangle retaining cap. My Adams middy came with a circle cap). Just a FYI.

Interesting - why do Mid-length it require a triangular cap (I bought a RR midlength carbine pencil barrel and it has a triangular cap) ?

Most mid lengths are triangle caps, when I bought a quad rail for my Spikes I first bought a Daniel Defense. It was really nice but required a round cap for midlength

After that I discovered the MI version that used the triangle cap and was lighter and less expensive

It seems "mid length" is the bastard child. Carbines typically use round end caps, and rifle lengths typically use triangle end caps. Mid lengths seem to use 'which ever". My AA piston upper mid length uses a round cap, however if you youtube installs of such, you'll see round AND triangle used. I really wish they'd come up with a standard as to which side the mid length falls on (carbine round, or rifle triangle).

Does "Solid Lock Up" mean I can put an IR laser on the front of it and expect it to hold zero well enough?
Same question for the SS Series drop in.

Thanks

I would love to get one of the fancy keymod rails if they had a full under rail to go with the top.  Sadding and taking away side rails is fine but the top and bottom is a must for me.  Stll good job non the less.

Midwest_Ind,

Do you know if the Noveske NSR polymer panels will fit on the drop-ins?  Obviously the OD geometry of the drop in is different than the OD geometry of the free float and since the panels appear to have curvature I'm wondering if they will work.

Basically if I can fit the NSR polymer panels on the MWI drop in keymod I will go that route.  If not I plan on the MWI SS drop in with MWI panels for that.

Thanks in advance.

I was looking at them after your post...I don't see much of a Difference...other than the MI HG is of course slimmer.  I would say the might work...but as for me...I will wait till MI comes out with the correct ones....

I personally have been trying to use the Keys in conjunction with the MI G2 SS panels to see if I could get them to work....No luck to speak of...again..I will just wait for the right part for the right part....but that is me...

This is really nice and way more affordable than others like the Troy drop in rails.

Wow...you're not kidding about that...

With MI you get Top Quality and affordable because you are paying for the Product...Not the Name...

Even though, MI is a Household name in the AR world...For alot of us...
