Hmmm, yummy.  The hole down the center of your Warthog looks pretty big, can you tell me the ID?  I have a 7.3" barrel here in serious need to some attitude adjustment (blast redirection, it hurts to shoot)

We made the hole large enough for 7.62 and 9mm. We will have them in 1/2x28, 1/2x36, and 5/8x24.

ETA: The hole is apx. .433

I am passing something .458 diameter... I prefer not to "fire swage"  Bummer....

I need one of these 7" or 10" in 5.45x39mm. If you guys can't provide the barrel and bolt can the upper be built if I supply them?

also can the gas system be adjusted off for suppressor use?

Also what do you mean by springloaded bolt?

Is the smaller profile block small enough to fit under handguards?

Can you do one in 7.62x39?  I have the barrel and bolt that I can send to you.

And I am very happy that you are pinning those blocks.  I had a long argument over this subject when they were first released, that is why I went with PWS (Addax Tactical) b/c they would pin it for me.

1- As of right now we are only doing complete 5.56 uppers

2- Yes it can be adjusted to suppress mode, and suppress mode single shot.

3- The bolt is spring loaded to mimic a DI bolt unlocking.

The bolt isn't modified is it? Hopefully the spring just fits into the (modified) carrier and it uses a standard bolt.

Finally do you know if the piston will clear a AAC or YHM QD suppressor mount? I know cans are fopa on <10" barrels, but mine is getting suppressed anyway.

I'm looking forward to this upper

ETA: what is the total number of clicks on the warthog's break?

There is probably enough material there to make what your wanting. I may do the 5/8x24 with a larger bore so it works with 7.62, all the pistol calibers and the big bores.

You would make a number of people quite happy, me included

Don't yell at me for saying this, but I just wanted to point out a correction that should be made to your topic title, which contains the term "muzzle breaks".   The term should be "muzzle brakes".  When, for example, you accidentally drop a glass jar on a concrete floor, the jar breaks.  When you wish to reduce, or slow (i.e., "put the brakes on ") a rifle's recoil, you may want to install a muzzle brake.

I've been seeing this term misspelled so often, and for so long, that I just felt that I should write this message, in order to hopefully eliminate some confusion about this term.

So the Spikes uppers are nice with the low profile piston kits, but how about us guys who already have an upper? Can we purchase the low profile piston kits separately?

Awesome work. My silly SBR paperwork only good for 10.5 bbl. If you were to pin the flash suppressor what would be the total barrel length for your 7.5" model? Could you do this for an extra charge? Was looking at the Troy IND M7 kit but you guys blew them out of the water with this

Tom,

Any chance of a CHF barrel option? It could attract a lot of us who are looking at other piston uppers.
