You made your own gas tube correct?

I want to get to working on mine soon. One thing stopping me is finding a gas tube that doesn't run straight for 3 plus inches before the bend.

On my first 608, I made a custom tube.  This one pictured uses a standard carbine tube.

The 607 stock is not cracked.  That is some gummy gunk left over from embossing tape that was originally on the stock.
