I am looking to get a partial fence lower for my 604 build.  Are there any vendors that carry these besides NDS?  NDS will not be selling any more partial fence lowers until December at the soonest.  Here is a picture of my parts waiting on a lower.

NDS is the one and only.

Worth the wait.  There's always the dremel route too.

Why not buy an A1 lower now (or even an A2) and sell it when the NDS lowers are available???

If you just can not wait, there's a modded Tactics on EE right now. Not mine.

But NDSs really are the bomb!

I'd be surprised if anyone would survive the mob here if they dared to bash y'all.

No NDS bashing allowed. If he had to defend himself in written response here it would take away from his shop time producing partial fence lowers and 604 uppers. No NDS bashing allowed.

Mike- Carry on.

Only bashing allowed is for financial reasons.
NDS is making it hard for me to feed my family.

"Hey, quite complaining about being hungry, NDS is coming out with a 605 upper soon.
Now go to bed, you can have supper tomorrow night!"

All M16A1 rifles have the full fence lower.

Then why are Retro guys into partial or slabside lowers for their recreations of their 66-69 Vietnam service rifles ?

XM16E1s used partial fence lowers.
601 & 602 used no fence lowers.

How nice my M16A1 should only have a full fenced lower, to be correct (I'm OK with that)

Personally, I always grew up wanting an SP1, so the 601 lower always sticks out in my mind as what a vietnam M16 should look like, even if it's not historically accurate. In other words, just like the folks who buy tricked out M4s, I think the slabside lowers look cool.
