anybody else having issues getting the foam sleeve on the buffer tube?  i guess i got the new model...  i didn't have any issues with the one i got a couple of years ago...  they told me on the phone that i needed to lube the tube up with some remington oil and it will slide right on, that's not the case...  i got it about three inches on the tube...

I used hairspray IIRC, works great AND kept it in place for those harsh windy days

With the foam started on the tube, blow air in through the open end. It will expand the foam enough to easily slide on. You can even do it without an air compressor, it doesn't take much, like blowing up a balloon

it's so tight on there...  it feels like it's going to tear at any given time, but i'll give it a try.
