I picked one up Monday. Yesterday morning I loaded some 55grn SP with 25 grains W748 and headed to the range. SHAZAM! I am in love. It was cold, and I was in a hurry so I made no effort to sight it in, it was just a function test for the gun and the load. Ejection was quite consistent about 6 paces out and 1-2 O'clock. I had one failure to fire which I am attributing to ammo. I pulled the trigger and heard/felt what I thought was the hammer falling, but there was no indentation on the primer so I have to assume that what I heard was the gun slipping into battery late due to a sticky case or possibly the hammer falling just before lockup. I was using a mixed lot of untrimmed, who-knows-how-many-times reloaded brass, so I doubt that it was the gun's fault. This is my first experience with a piston driven 5.56 and it really seemed strange to open it up and not find everything caked with charcoal.
