Has anyone worked with Bushmaster to get a standard (non-Carbon 15) pistol built from the factory? I'm in the market for a new pistol and was thinking of calling Bushy in an attempt to get one built by the factory. Has anyone done this? Also, Bushy doesn't have very short barrels - does anyone know if they will cut one down on a custom order?

I don't know if this helps, but this is in thier catalog.

May I ask why you don't like the Carbon 15? Lighter, stronger and it's a Bushmaster.

I've got a Professional Ordanance (POS) now Carbon 15 pistol and was looking for a change. I'm happy to build but was wondering if Bushy had both standard and Carbon 15 models.

What about the original Bushmaster pistol? I'd like to them bring that back, proving it works.

Pat-Riot,

Are you talking about the original Bushmaster "Bull-Pup". The contraption that was just a receiver with a tiny barrel that sat on your wrist? I had one about 20 or 25 years ago. It was completely useless but sure was great fun. I WISH I never got rid of it.
