I just thought I share with you this 458 SOCOM Marty built for me.

I just received it a few days ago and have not been able to shoot it yet. I hope that on the weekend if the weather will clear up and it will no longer rain in buckets I will get to shoot it out back.

As  it sits- how much$$?

I am running a 2 point sling (Blue Force Gear - Combat Application Sling in Camo Green - Padded) and a Primary Arms Micro Dot.

The optic is not an Eotech or Aimpoint I know it is considered a cheap Optic but it will do the trick. May be down the road I will get one.  

Nice rig.  Why did you go with the 3/4 x 28 instead of the standard 5/8 x 24?  Seems that will really limit your muzzle attachment options.

that is what Marty told me to get from Brownells -  that was his recommendation for this built. I think because of the size of it

I just added all this up and the way it is right now it is about $2400

right now I am running 300gr. JHP from SBR. I will work my way to some other load later.
