How can I get a basic 20" A2 rifle in .308?

I prefer a standard A2 front sight and normal handguard (not a 4-sided weaver-everywhere robot handguard), and also a smooth-profile barrel with no "cutouts".

Does it have to be a flat-top with a detachable carry-handle?

If I really had my druthers, it'd be 18", not 20", but that seems unlikely in today's market?

16" is just too short for the cartridge isn't it?

Thanks!

I thought they only made a flatop. I don't recall ever seeing any A2 versions.
Pic whore opportunity.

Thanks
Yes, it had the plastic handguards.
I threw on the YHM but I had to modify them a tiny bit to make them fit properly, no big deal and they are very solid.
here's the before pic

Thanks for the replies.

If I buy a flattop, and have both scope and iron sight systems, is accuracy and zero completely preseved when switching between the two systems, or must the rifle be re-zeroed every time I switch?

Thx.
