Last time I checked SEI had a bunch left, but it could be a larger corporation bought all of them.  I have all of 1 left I think.

Here they are on the Smith website

I didn't see them on the main vortex page.  They are listed on the sale/discontinued page.  Thanks to marty for clarifying for me.

Ron's going to have more...we're actually listing them in the new catalog and offering them as options on the 458 rifles and uppers.
Steve/RRA

Good for you guys!

What are the chances that RRA might pick up the 500 Phantom AND the Rhino series?  A heavy hitter like RRA could probably get the ball rolling with the ammo guys to get brass done.

ALSO... Any chance you guys will have 458 SOCOM marked lowers for sale.  I missed out on the AMteec ones and would love to support you guys on the 458 deal.

I ran that GB on lowers, and word on the street is, USMA89 "might" have one extra, he did buy like 3 or 5 of them, but no promises, I remember he had a few and was trying to sell one at one point, might message him.

The Vortex FH is the last piece of my 458 build.

Is this a simple screw on affair or does it need to be "timed", or some other special installation instructions?

Alright - so who's going to hook me up with some love for doing the grunt work of getting the .458 Vortexes out there?

Anyone?  Ah, hell, at least I have the one on mine...

And Ron really dropped the price!  He must have been really tired of hanging on to them...  He would have sold them all in the first batch except he only built 25 and then insisted on making another 50...  So, the original batch was only 75 total units...

Spooky

Got mine yesterday. Total price including shipping was $60.00.

Thanks for doing all the grunt work to make the Vortex deal happen spooky.

I just hope people don't hunt me down because the intial run cost was a lot higher than what Smith is charging now...

Minor bummer, but I was playing the odds.  Who would have thought that RRA would pick up the 458 and contract with SEI?
