A friend sent me a .502 Thunder Sabre cartridge for my collection. It looks very similar to the .50 Action Express except that the rim is more heavily rebated. Tony -  the man to talk to is Tony Rumore at Tromix

Robin Church came up with that one.  After buying one of my 50AE uppers, Robin decided to copy the thing using a 50AE case with a 7.62x39 rim.  I don't think very many of them are in circulation.  You could take a Tromix 50AE upper and simply swap out the bolt and fire the 502 TS.

I converted an M1 Carbine to fire the .502 TS awhile back.  In that application, you need the small case head to work with the M1 bolt.
