Love this gun. The NX8 keeps it relatively handy, and even with the can it’s not too terrible to carry, point, and shoot effectively. Though I do still feel like there’s a part of this rifle that needs a bipod and a bunch more magnification. Idk. First world problems.
View Quote

I have the same setup with a Sandman S and it’s just the right size, weight, magnification for my AO, with shots past 300 yards being hard to find.

I know people knock the NX8 for the eye box, but I shoot NTCH anyway and the size/weight is perfect.

So going to load up some match 155's this week and see how it does. Only looking for 1.5moa honestly.

Not sure if I posted this yet in this thread… need to grab some new foam and cut it for all of this crap to make a pseudo deployment kit. It’s a little old school but I’m super comfortable with it. Hard to go with something else when this is what I’ve been used to for so long. It’s a sub-MOA shooter with all 3 barrels. Looking at grabbing a MLOK upper and 16” LW CL barrel for it sooner or later.

LMT MWS
16” CL .308 barrel w/ AAC 51T FH
16” CL LW .308 barrel
20” CL .308 barrel w/ AAC 51T brake
20” SS 6.5 CM barrel w/ AAC 51T brake
Trijicon ACOG TA-11 M240 with piggyback RMR in Larue mount
Leupold MK6 3-18x44 H-59 reticle in ADM mount
Atlas V8 bipod
Vickers BFG padded sling
KAC trigger guard
KAC BUIS
KAC handstop

Finally decided to paint one of my tools. This is my hunting rig, and is chambered in .308 with an 18" barrel. I probably should've started with a lesser tool.....but all the more reason not to jack it up!

I watched a YooToob video several times through (many actually....but the one in particular) to get the basic idea of what I wanted. I wanted to mimic nocturnal creatures in the forest. Dark on top, light on bottom, and patterned on the sides.

It took me two days to finish it, but you could absolutely do it in one....less than an hour, if you wanted to. It's just the way it worked out for me. I did the FDE base coat one day, and the camo the next. I painted the scope & mount on their own, following the same principles. I'm allowing a full week or two for the paint to cure before I start handling it too much. I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out. If you're on the fence about painting one of your tools.....do it!! And make it your own! Have fun with it. Cheers!

The Beast!

6.5creedmoor. Aero Precision M5 upper, lower, hand guard.  Seekins Precision 22” fluted heavy barrel, ultra Dynamics brake, JP Precision bolt.  Thing shoots 1/2moa with Hornady 140gr American Gunner.  MOA with S&B 140gr. Between the weight and the brake, it hardly moves at all during recoil.

Unfortunately I don't know how to post a Photo here, everytime I try it ask me to attach a URL, and I can't attach my picture in any way.    Sorry new here and haven't figured out how to work everything yet.  But my AR10 is just about complete to be capable of EVERYTHING a Military M5 can do.

Anybody have a pic of an N6 rail on a Stag upper?

Not the right place to ask, so I apologize, but I can't seem to find the answer anywhere else:  does the Noveske N6 rail have a DPMS high or low profile?

So, can those two POF’s (308 AR15) accept small frame barrels and handguards? What parts are small frame and what parts are large frame?

The vortex razor 2 4.5-27 is a great optic.  I am growing to like the leupold mk6 3-18 for this type of rifle though and might swap this one out.

Both bottom pictures are the same rifle, POF Revolution.
It doesn't use any "large frame" parts, but has a few proprietary ones.

No problem. The POF Revolution and Rogue are excellent rifles. I'm not a fan of the stock rail and gas block, but the core rifle design is excellent, and I just replaced mine with AR15 components that I preferred.
