I've always been under the impression that SS barrels are easier to clean than standard mil-spec barrels. Someone told me the opposite, chrome lined is easier to clean. I need some help guys! Trying to separate fact from fiction.

Theoretically and practically chrome will be easier to clean than SS. There are always exceptions though and from experience on this forum someone will be along shortly to tell us about his uncle's neighbor who had a SS barrel that was clean after one pass with a bore snake.
