The extension pictured on their site is a mil-spec tube judging from the threads. However, that doesn't mean that's the same one you have. Measure the outer diameter to be sure.

I personally prefer mil-spec stocks because of their method of manufacture/material used & there are more stock options for mil-spec extensions. Mil-spec threads are indeed rolled & not cut into the diameter like the commercial. Whether or not mil-spec is better is debatable within some circles. I just use what I prefer & haven't run into a problem yet. |
