@buddyhoohaw thanks for the picture. Is that with the standard 51t mount or the deep socket that sits farther back? Thanks again!

I assume so as I have never heard of the deep socket mount.

The new Geiselle scope mount doesn’t match my spray paint job . Still dig the rifle. 16in 7.62 setup for day & night hunting.

So I just got my first LMT a few weeks ago at a gun show. I was about to walk out until I walked past a rack and noticed some higher end optics, so I stopped to look.  I noticed that they had to LMT MRP’s.  Before then I had never seen one in person, I had always just drooled over them on the internet.  Needless to say I had to “pull the trigger”.  Presently I have the 16inch barrel on it.  I am wanting a shorter barrel. I am just trying to figure out what would be the best route.  In your opinion would it be more feasible to just have my LMT barrel cut down to say 13.8/13.9 and have a flash hider pin and welded, buy a barrel and have d Wilson, or Marvin Pitts  do the conversion, or just submit a form 1 and wait so that I could just have it sbr’d. Either way I would have d Wilson or Marvin Pitts do the work.  I just wanted some insight on what your preferences are.  I have scrolled through this forum and this has been the best information I have found so far.  I hope this makes sense, I should be in bed right now, but I have been scrolling through all these pics of badass rifles  I am going to attempt to post some pics of mine   Thanks for any insight. It is much appreciated

Are you planning on more barrels/calibers? If not, D Wilson is your man. If you have other calibers and lengths in mind, start the eFile process asap. Good luck and enjoy! (great color btw)

Thanks man. I appreciate it. I saw this thing, and I knew I would probably never see it again.   With the rifle did you use a trust, or go through an attorney?

Barrel cut down question:

I have a suppressor in jail. I want to cut down a barrel and pin a mount so the suppressor is just about flush against a rifle length rail. So like 13.8 inches.

Am I better off cutting down a 14.5” barrel with carbine length gas, or a 16” with mid-length gas? And does
it even matter?

Wow, great looking rifle.
In that thread is that the LMT torque wrench?

Never seen one.

I've been using this since 3-05, calibration still exact.

And the required MRP photos.

From the last page, my 14" midlength (was originally 16") with pinned SilencerCo / BE Meyers ASR FH. Works great with SpringCo blue spring and H2 buffer.

does the 13.8 have enough clearance to put a surefire suppresor?

So it seems 13.8” is the answer to having a flush fit suppressor on the rifle length upper. What about the carbine length. 10”?

I had my cqb upper milled several years ago.

If I'd thought it through a little further, I would've left more picatinny slots at the forwardmost portion, similar to a 10.75" URX 3.1 handguard.

I tried like hell to make the DEVO work on the KAC RB1 mount with a T2.  How are you liking it setup like that?

I sold the DEVO at a loss and was happier for it.

I need some help guys.

I need a few measurements from someone who has a rifle length MRP, the picatinny version. I'm planning on having D. Wilson do a conversion for me and I want to know if this needs to be on an SBR lower or if a pin and weld will keep it kosher.

What is the barrel length that would flush fit to the front of a rifle length MRP upper? LMT says that the rail is 12in long but that doesnt tell me exactly what I need to know.

The intent of this is to use the Surefire OTB mount for the FA762SS suppressor I have, mostly as that can is only used on my XM-3 currently and that seems a shame.

So, I'm starting with an 18in barrel, presumably

I want to get the can as close to the rail as is easily feasible. I'm assuming that the mount needs to be pinned at this point. Or is it too short and do I have a SBR upper now?

Thoughts?

Funny you posted this..

I'm considering moving my ACC so I can get back into a MWS MLOK.

I had an old school picatinny MWS that was retardedly accurate for a chrome lined barrel that I sold when I got the ACC.

My ACC shoots just as good as my MWS... but switch barrel....

Local shop has LMT enhanced BCG with the enhanced bolts for $389. Seems like that is MSRP. I’ve always wanted to try one but damn if that isn’t steep for a BCG.

For those that have them. Are they really worth the difference over a $100 toolcraft bcg?
