I am driving myself crazy trying to decide which barrel length
for my first SBR. I am ready to fill out my Form 1, but can't make up my mind on barrel length.

I know it will be in .223 caliber. I also want the barrel chrome lined with a 1/7 twist.
I have been looking at several websites for the last few days, and of the available
SBR/pistol uppers online, 7" or 7-1/2" seem too short and 10-1/2"
seems too long.

I want to use a Noveske KX3 flaming pig brake, and with it being
over three inches long, if I use a 10.5 inch barrel, it almost negates
the cool factor of having an SBR in the first place.

I think a 9" barrel would be perfect.

Anybody have a source for one?

Help me make up my mind on which barrel length so I can
fill out this blasted form and make an appointment with my Chief LEO for signoff.

I'm going to buy a 16" barrel and send it off to Randall at ar-15 Barrels and have him cut and turn it to my specs...you should consider the same.
