Is the rollmark the only difference?  When did they change over to the new design?

different source for the two and dont think there is such thing as new or old cause i got the L prefix lower on a new no-ban rifle and got the BFI prefix lower rifle during the ban

it's not a new vs. old thing, it's lowers made by LAR and lowers made by Bushy have slightly different logos.  The Bushy (BFI) marked lowers have the snake in the above Bushmaster banner and the LAR lowers are not as detailed.
