Looking to dress up my lower. What paint is used and how to do it. I heard of something called Durafill, any ideas?

My understanding is most guys just melt crayons into the engraving to add color.

Would the receiver heat up enough to melt that out, or a hot day at the range?

If your talking about the lacquer-stiks; I use them all the time. Easy to use and I've yet to see it chipping, wearing away or staining. From start to finish it takes a 5 minutes to do an application. All you need is the lacquer-stik and a clean rag to wipe away the excess.

my wifes finger nail paint! and a rag with laquer thinner to wipe away any excess! at least it's always worked for me and once it's dry'S
 gun solvents don't seem to bother it!
