I installed my LT 9" today and it seemed a little odd;

Lining up the hole for the gas tube was a bit off, To line it up it seemed that the barrel nut wasnt tightened enough, I tried to go to the next hole on the barrel nut but It was going to take a lot of torque to get it there so I left it...Its not loose, just doesnt seem near 30lbs of torque as suggested. Anyone else experience this, and should I torque the sucker really hard to get it to that Next alignment?

Yeah ran some good lith through the threads and got it to the next hole. I put it all back together and the Rail is tad bit to off so I need to go about a mm further, but I should be good to go. Putting the nut on then backing it off several times helped quite a bit. Thanks!

near finished project:

Looks good so far.

I also installed a LaRue 9.0 last month but managed to go to the next hole a little at a time until I got it centered.

I'm a LaRue convert now and will be getting more of their products for my future builds.

Good luck on your build.

Hey Optik

Did you have to buy two Miad pistol grips to get the black/green color combo or does someone sell the set like that??  Also guessing those are Magpul ladders on your rail..  Really like that contrast you have there..

John,

I have MIAD's on all of my builds, so I have tons of spare back/front straps laying around but it never hurts to ask a dealer if they can swap some parts around. But my M93B was custom built  w/ a black buffer tube, OD green stock, and black trigger lock. Yep, Magpul ladders.
