If you're talking legal, then there aren't any as long as both the SBR and suppressor are properly papered.

... or you can permanently attach the suppressor to get >16" barrel and no tax required for the SBR.

Which is the dumbest idea of all time... cant clean the barrel with a patch, difficult to clean the suppressor, cant send the suppressor back for warranty work, all to save less than $200 since it will cost money to have the suppressor perm atttached. |

there are issues with longer bullets, in shorter barrels, with suppressors and baffle strikes. An 11.5", 1:8 barrel, with 55gr ammo is probably fine. A 10.5", 1:8, with 77gr ammo, and a suppressor, may not be a good thing.
I thought I read somewhere that Gemtech says not to use 5.56 suppressors on barrels shorter than 11.5". They sure look neat
