Just about the most expensive upper I've ever built

10.5" Noveske CQB barrel with LaRue low profile gas block
Noveske KX3 flash hider
Troy MRF 10"
Troy F&R BUIS
Colt M4 Upper
Colt M16 bolt and carrier
EoTech 551

Runs great and is very accurate out to the 100 yards I've tried it (shot 1" semi-auto groups today). No problem keeping FA bursts on a B27 at that range. The beta was just to hold it up for the pictures.

Man, You seriously have good taste.  Maybe on par with some of the greatest rifle builders of all time.
How do I no this.

Here's mine

Seriously though,  I got nothing but good things to say about this setup also.  It's probrably my favorite upper.  Worth every penny.  Good choose. Enjoy it.

I have a 16 inch Bushmaster upper (POST Ban) no muzzle break at all.  I was checking out the KX3, so how do I get started?  who do I send this barrel off to get it installed and how much will it run me approx...????  Those are some really nice rifles posted as well.

Only about 4,500 still looking good.   We'll see if it continues to hold up.

Depending upon your configuration options, somewhere in the $1100 -$1400 range, plus optic.

Thanks, misterjg. Looks pretty good. If I wanted to build an upper, would I just need the upper rec'r and the Noveske barrel? (and my tax stamp of course)!

It's no different than building any other upper, but if you want the FF rail to go over the gas block, you'll need to use a low-profile gas block like the LaRue.

After hunting season, I'll try to take my LW upper out with my 4x16 Nikon and run groups with it.  I could also remove the piston, install a gas tube and re run the groups to see if I see a difference.
