There is a company that makes a bayonet that will fit a Dissipator but they cost $ToMuch.99 +shipping IMHO.

I made a bayonet for my dissy. Looks exactly like the really expensive one.
Not to plug or anything, but I'll be making about 10 more this week and selling them soon. If you're interested. Email me or something, and I'll put you on a mailing list for when they're finished.  They'll be far less than 90$ I assure you... |

What is this? You have a doorknob, so now you're gonna buy the door to install it on? It's a standard front sight base, the bayonet lug is there because people cared enough to call BS on the ban. Unless you want a modified, short M7 bayonet for looks, then the bayonet lug on a Dissipator is useless, much like a lug on a 16" rifle. Unless you get a midlength or a 20", then the lug can't be used for much. Save your front sight base, and use it later for a rifle which may not come equipped with the lug. |

Lapp dancer, I dont want a bayo, I just wanted to know if the lug was just for looks, IE a little added forward weight serving no purpose. |

A true liberal doesn't even know what a bayonet lug is. If the rifle is black it is evil. They can't see past that.
