I like both as well, but, like mongo, preffer the RAS II, except if you were going to use a EoTech or a traditional tube style scope. Becaue of the bridge mentioned by Forest, the RAS II is not very EoTech or tube style scope friendly. You would HAVE to mount the EoTech completely out over the handguards and the bridge makes using scope rings hard. If you were using a Aimpoint or ACOG, the RAS II is phenominal. It is very strong, light weight, easy to install and remove.
I really like the continuous rail style the Troy gives you, but you will have to take off your Delta ring, weld spring and snap ring. that isnt a hard job, but it is more permanent. The cost difference between the two is marginal since Knights lowered the price of the RAS II and if they are still running the deal where you get the free forward grip and extra pannel, the RAS II is probably the better deal. But the cost is so close I would use other factors to decide.
