Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - FF rail loose - what does this mean?

I have a Larue FF rail on my M4Gery

I shot it for the first time tonight, and it seems to have some slack around its axis, you can slop it back and forth a bit (this isn't the upper/lower connection; but around the barrel it's moving).

Is this a concern?  Is it normal?  Any thoughts?

Thats definitely bad. Contact the vendor you bought it from.

This is strange. I would suggest contacting LaRue 512-259-1585.

Just out of curosity, how many foot lbs. of torque is your barrel nut set to? It should be at least in the 30 foot lbs range...
