AN 18" 6.8 SPC UPPER, BUILT FOR AN M.D. IN NEW MEXICO. HIS FIRST OF TWO MSTN-BUILT UPPERS.
 A 16" 6.8 SPC UPPER, BUILT FOR AN AMERICAN AIRLINES PILOT AND FORMER USMC F-18 PILOT. HIS SECOND OF THREE MSTN-BUILT UPPERS.  ANOTHER 16" UPPER BUILT FOR SOME NAVY DOCTOR WHO DOES CRUEL AND UNUSUAL THINGS TO BALLISTIC GELATIN. HIS THIRD OF FOUR MSTN-BUILT UPPERS. MSTN QC BRAKE IN 6.8 SPC.  WES GRANT M.S.T.N. |

Nice. Would that Navy doctor by any chance be Gary Smith? Also, is the OPS collar functional on that 16", or is it decorative? It looks like going with the rail mounted sight leaves just enough room to make it functional.

Give me the specs on that first rifle, I guess you could build the same rifle but use the Knights FF tube right? Is it the same lenght as the PRI tube. |

THE BARREL COLLAR IS SET UP TO WORK WITH AN OPS INC 12TH MODEL SUPPRESSOR. NO, I DO NOT HAVE ACCESS TO SUCH, UNFORTUNATELY.

I know you told me recently that the only 18" 6.8 Rem SPC barrels you had were drilled for the mid length gas system. Did you get any in with the full length system like that new Mexican M.D's? I really want one for my Mk12 Mod1 clone...

Look at the third hole back from the front in the PRI tube on that rifle, you can see the mid-length gas block under the handguard. -z |

THE 18" BARREL ALSO USES A MID-LENGTH GAS SYSTEM. THE GAS TUBE IS FITTED TO A STAINLESS STEEL LOW PROFILE GAS BLOCK UNDER THE HANDGUARD, OUT OF SIGHT. THE FRONT SIGHT IS SIMPLY A FRONT SIGHT; IT DOES NOT FUNCTION AS A GAS BLOCK. WE HAD OUR 18" BARRELS ARE SPECIALLY CONTOURED TO ACCEPT THE PRI FLIP UP FRONT AT THE CORRECT LOCATION.
