How desireable is this gun?  There's one on consignment at a local shop.  Probably way too much dinero, which I don't have, but I'm always wanting something else that won't fit in my safe!

Colt made up a bunch of .222 ARs for sale in countries that do not allow their citizens to own rifles in militarycalibers. A few up them apparently never made it out of the country, and they do show up from time to time.

I guess an avid Colt collector might want one to complete an AR collection, but from my personal perspective, I wouldn't want it unless I could get it for $200 LESS than I'd pay for a standard 5.56mm piece.

I sure wouldn't offer any more than the equivelent 5.56 piece would go for.
