If the barrel itself is actually 16" long without the AK brake, then any FS will do. If it is really a 14.5" barrel, then you must PERMANENTLY ATTACH an extended-length FS (Phantom or Vortex) on your barrel before installing the upper on the rifle. Otherwise, you have an illegal SBR, which is an NFA violation and 10 years at Club Fed.
In the case of the latter, I strongly recommend having a 'smith do the work for you. -Troy |

Not knowning how far the barrel goes into the AK brake it looks like it must be 14 1/2".
