i saw a listing on gunbroker about a bushmaster upper with an E R Shaw barrel.

i have never hear of an E R Shaw barrel or anything related to an AR15.

Are these barrels any good? worth looking into?

Shaw makes good barrels.  That's what JT dist. uses in their upper assemblies.  What you have to look out for is who chambered and drilled the gas port on said barrel.  Wilson makes good barrels too, but if you get a wilson barrel on say, an ASA gun, you will get a barrel that doesn't have the chamber or gas port cut to spec so you don't have a good barrel after all.

ERShaw machines most (prob. not all) of their barrels in house.
(including barrels for Colt)
We have had excellent results with them.
